Currently 60% (I think I read) of the cannabis smoked in the UK is grown here. Who would have predicted that 20 years ago? People here are already experimenting with growing their own tobacco.Jonathan Bagleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17331501151709216753noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2670285911995096389.post-19496385638070104702012-03-13T13:35:52.485-04:002012-03-13T13:35:52.485-04:00As a tobacco user, the thought of a complete tobac...As a tobacco user, the thought of a complete tobacco ban frightens me. I'm concerned for many reason, but the one that sticks out a little more than the others is how the government plans to fund programs (and the country) without the billions of dollars that they raise from tobacco taxes. The idea is completely ludicrous. Not to mention the creation of a huge black market for these illegal tobacco products.

I use many forms of tobacco. I understand the risk. I wish the government would butt out and let me live my life (which is going to be very short, according to them)

What are your thoughts about a blanket ban?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
